Loving Your Self – Literally

Do you know yourself?

Or are you busy watching the self of other people?  I bet you are.  You run around asking other people’s self for advice.  The bad part about that is these people don’t trust their self either.  It is really insane when you trust the self of another who doesn’t even trust their self.  Need I grind it in more?

And you don’t just stop there.  You call yourself all sorts of names.  You’re nicer to the self of others, than you are to yourself.  “I’m so stupid!”  you say.  Does this not seem ridiculous to you?  But it seems to be the normal thing to do.    Why?  There could be many reason for that, but the main answer is that you don’t trust yourself.  Some of you don’t even like your self and you wish you were some one else’s self.

Getting to Know Your Self…

Meditation is a great key to getting to know your self.  I am not requesting that you sit down and meditate for hours and hours.  Especially, if you have never meditated before.  I do have an easy way for you to get to know yourself and grab your problems and take control of them.

First, you must be convinced that you can trust yourself and you don’t have to look outside yourself for advice or answers to your problems.  Consult with your Higher Self or the Holy Spirit within you.  Take the answer that you get in a thought and heed the advice.  See that the advice is good.  This will be the beginning of you trusting and loving your self.

Are you afraid to ask your self for advice?
