Success
There are five major areas that we all need to have success in our lives. We must have success:
Each area is very important to create a “feeling” of accomplishment and fulfillment. This is normally how we measure success.
Sometimes we think that we measure our success by finances, but this is only true when we measure the success of others. No matter how much money we have, we measure our own success by how we feel about what we have and what we have done.
The Journey
Obtaining success in The Five Major “ALLY’s” of Life is very simple indeed. It will take more work in some areas, as it will take letting go in others. Though, I use the words “obtaining success,” they can be a little misleading. To obtain something sounds so final. It gives the connotation that you will arrive somewhere, but success is a journey.
“Success is the ride. You never really obtain it, but you drive it.”
Obtaining Your Driver’s License
On this blog you will learn to drive this journey we call life. You will drive it through many different paths that we call successes.
Mentally–As you go forward, there are mental steps that you will take to go on this journey.
Spiritually–Spiritual awareness will be a very integral part of your Journey of Success. Spiritually, you must learn who you are. This is very important. (Though second on my list; I mark it with high regards.)
Physically–Your body must be in shape for you to live on purpose. Beyond fitness, you will need to learn to garner and control your energies.
Financially–All areas of life have high value in importance. Each area will depend one on the other inter-connectively. Once you control the upper 3; finances are not far behind. You must learn to become financially fit to drive the road of success.
Relationally–Last, but certainly not least. Your social life is important to each part. Like I said, these are all inter-connected. Even though Relation-ally is last, it is important to each other area the same. You will need relationships in business (finances), physical relationships, spiritual relationships, as well as intellectual relationships. So, I will call Relation-ally, the glue* of sorts.
*I will explain in another post why I don’t call Spiritu-ally the glue.
So, what we waiting for? Let’s ride…
